I'm raising funds for Backpack Bed for Homeless
Ten years ago, I found myself in a situation where I had to flee for my safety, left in the middle of a freezing winter night with nothing but the fear of what might happen next. I spent hours alone in a cold, dark paddock, wondering how my life had become so fragile.
That night never left me. Today, I am safe, but I know that many others are currently sleeping rough in that same Melbourne cold, facing the same fear and uncertainty I once did.
I’ve launched Mission 10 to provide 10 weather-proof Backpack Beds to people sleeping rough in our community. Each bed costs $144, and every single dollar goes directly toward giving someone dignity, warmth, and protection from the elements tonight.
