Please help me raise funds
I have started this page because there is a massive housing crisis currently in Australia, right now there are over 122,000 people currently experiencing homelessness in Australia.
Housing is a fundamental right to every human being and it deeply saddens me that you have people from all walks of life without a home. This isnt just people that you can physically see on the streets, this is also people who may in living in their cars, couch surfing, living in caravan park,the list goes on.
There is currently no emergency accommodation to help those who are fleeing a domestic violence situation and need somewhere safe to go that night.
There are not enough crisis accommodation and those active services are at full capacity.
Being homeless can happen to any one of us, we are all one paycheck away from being without a home, especially with the way rental prices are.
It is time to break the stigma and it is time to make a difference in a person's life and realise that we are all human beings with the same wants and needs and we all need a roof over our heads.
