Friends — Before you leave…This is the first and likely last time I turn to this medium for the purposes of fundraising. (I loathe that Mark “anything for a buck” Z and his cabal will take their cut.) But I have a birthday coming up and I recently learned about this organization. I know that there is so much going on that demands your attention, but it is winter in Chicago and a lot of folks, through no fault of their own, are unsheltered and sleeping on the streets in extreme conditions. So I’d like to draw your attention to the Backpack Bed for Homeless/GoodNightChicago’s heroic mission and encourage you to help them out to the extent you can.
