Australia let's get 1000 Backpack Beds and sleeping bags for our Homeless Aussies

My family and I want to make a difference this year for our Homeless Aussies and we need your Help!!

Over the next 12 months let's together take the leap to get 1000 Backpack Beds and sleeping bags into the hands of our growing amount of homeless in Australia that are sleeping on our streets. Giving them a warm, dry and safer place to sleep. 

Why we need your help:

-Over 122,000 Australians are Homeless.

-Nearly 46,000 of Australians will sleep on the streets across Australia this year. 

-23% of these Australians are 12-24 years old. 

-There has been an increase of over 20% of homeless Australians sleeping on the streets.

-Women aged over 55 are the fastest growing group of homeless Australians. 

 -There were over 80,000 requests for accommodation from the homeless in 2021-2022 that couldn't be met. 

-Homeless have been ran over and killed while sleeping in the city.

Many of our homeless Australians suffer tremendously and die from sleeping on the ground exposed in the elements. Hyperthermia, rain, wind, Insects and not to mention long term impacts on their body from sleeping on the ground.     

 What can you do to help: 

Let's band together and provide warmth, safety, and dignity to Australia's homeless population by supplying Backpack Beds and sleeping bags. These innovative portable beds are designed to keep individuals warm, dry, and protected from the elements, preventing hypothermia and other illnesses associated with sleeping on the streets. They also bring an element  of safety with some homeless as young as 12 years old.

$145.00 gives 1x homeless Aussie a bed and sleeping bag.  We need to achieve 3 beds a day over the next 12 months to reach the goal.
